Surry County Toys for Tots
Thank you to the businesses and those in the community that assisted in making the 2025 Christmas Season a success. 6,758 toys were collected or purchased. There was also 1,071 books collected or purchased.
Toys for Tots donated 6,405 of those toys and 1,044 books to the children in Surry County and some of the surrounding areas through a local ministry that also gave some of the toys and books to Hurricane Helene children still in need. The total number of children receiving presents on Christmas morning in the Surry County area were 1634. Without the help of the awesome people in the area, we would not be able to accomplish this mission.
Gracias a los negocios y a la comunidad que ayudaron a que la temporada navideña de 2025 fuera un éxito. Se recogieron o compraron 6.758 juguetes. También se recopilaron o compraron 1.071 libros. Juguetes para Niños donó 6.405 de esos juguetes y 1.044 libros a los niños del condado de Surry y de algunas zonas cercanas a través de una ministría local que también donó algunos de los juguetes y libros a niños del huracán Helene que aún lo necesitaban.
